I asked the children to colour a blank square in their favourite colour.
Some children chose rainbow as their favourite colour but then settled on pink.
We then graphed our results.
This is what we observed:
Pink is the most popular colour in our class. We think this may be due to the larger number of girls in our class.
The same number of children prefer purple and light blue
Nobody chose orange, yellow, brown or dark blue as their favourite colours.
Next week he children will be graphing the results of their favourite ice cream flavour survey (Homework activity).
