Two of Our Seeds Have Sprouted!

This morning we checked on our sunflower seeds. 

We had planted some seeds in egg cartons and some directly into the soil. 

We did this to see which seeds would grow. Exactly one week after planting our seeds two that we planted directly into the soil have sprouted. 

This sparked some interesting discussion about why these seeds have sprouted and not others. 

In the mean time, we'll continue watering our seeds and hope they continue to grow!
